What We Do?

Give you Peace of Mind while providing Automatic Off Site Backups of your critical data

-          We affordably set up and maintain a backup for you. We will automate backups to PCs, servers, or storage devices and store secure copies of these backups off site for you on our servers. Your data can be encrypted so nobody will be able to view these files while in storage.  (Not even us!)

How Does It Work?

-          PC Optimized Backup allows you to be in total control of all your files and data – and back up that data to another PC that you own or use. 

-          Step 1 Choose Your Computers: Our technician will install the Backup Software on the Source PCs (the computers you want to back up files from).  The installation is fast and easy, and takes about one minute from start to finish. The Source PCs can be any Windows computer, and they only need to be connected to the Internet.

-          Step 2 Create Backup Sets: We will set up the folders and files you want to protect and back up. This is your Backup Set. You can create as many Backup Sets as you want.

For example, you may have one Backup Set titled, "My Pictures" that includes digital photos, and another Backup Set titled, "Bookkeeping" that includes financial documents. Or, you could simply group unrelated files and folders together in a comprehensive Backup Set titled, "My Backup."

-          Step 3 Backup Now, or Backup Later: We’ll either send your Backup Set to the Storage PC now, or set a schedule that automatically sends your Backup Set to our Secured Storage Server once a day, once a week, once a month – you decide how often, and when.

Backups are placed on a “Set it and Forget it” schedule.  Your computers automatically connect with our Storage Server, safely encrypt your data, and transfers your Backup Sets. You no longer need to worry about your important data being backed up.  You can leave the worrying to us.

-          Step 4 Restore Data: In the event your Source PC data is lost (due to a flood, fire, theft, hard drive crash, accidental deletion, etc.), you can easily restore your data.

A PC Optimized technician will open the Backup, (Installation of the backup software on a new Source PC may be needed if necessary), Restore Files, and restore the Backup Set(s) you would like to restore. With PC Optimized Backup, your data is safe – even when your computer is not!

How Do YOU Benefit?

-          Backup You Control: Unlike other remote backup solutions, PC Optimized Remote Backup doesn't send your critical data to remote, unknown servers over which you have no control.  Instead, you backup your data directly to PC Optimized servers that are dedicated only for managing your backups.  PC Optimized Remote Backup enables automatic connections between the machines.  A copy of your backed up data is securely stored on one of our PC Optimized servers.  You may also choose to back up to PCs or servers that you own.  You always know where your data is.  You stay in complete control.

-          Scheduled Backups: Automating scheduled backups is easy. We’ll help you select the files and folders to create a Backup Set, specify how often and when you'd like the backups to be performed, and PC Optimized Remote Backup will automatically send your Backup Sets off site to our Secured Server for you.

-          Multiple Back Up Versions: Specify the number of scheduled backup versions you'd like to keep, so you can restore from the most recent set – or one from months ago.

-          State of the Art Security: All data transferred between machines is securely encrypted via 256-bit SSL. By default, your Backup Sets are stored in a password-protected, encrypted state on a PC Optimized Server, so no matter where you store your data, you are the only person who can access it.
